Port Macquarie is known as the home of Ironman Australia and at South Pacific Port Macquarie Apartments, we're getting ready for a special event on the 6th of November! The Ironman 70.3 Australian Age Group Championship will welcome athletes from across Australia to Port Macquarie, allowing them to compete for a professional prize purse of US $15000.
Athletes attending the ironman championship will complete a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run, all while enjoying the beautiful Port Macquarie area. During the swim course, athletes will swim west towards the Marina and exit at the boat ramp next to the Fisherman’s Co-Op. The bike and run courses are setup along the Port Macquarie coastline and pass our Port Macquarie holiday accommodation.
