Had a fabulous10-night stay in January at South Pacific. Stayed in a ground floor apartment they was very clean and comfortable. Kids [age 8 and 12] loved the pool, great location across the road to Flynn's beach, picturesque 20-minute walk into town. Boys loved the skateboard park in town and we were impressed with the restaurants. Will return. Great place to stay for a young family.

We stayed here just for one night as a rest stop. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable. Facilities were great. Would recommend, and we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Great location too. It was a little expensive but given how clean the apartment was and location and facilities it was worth it.

After a few hiccups on our first night, Christine offered us the choice of 2 alternative apartments. We chose a level 3 apartment because it had ocean views. Christine explained that the bathroom hadn’t been renovated and still had a shower over bath, which didn’t worry us at all. The view was worth it- bushland and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The previous apartment on the 2nd floor in the corner was quite dark but quiet. The best thing about these apartments is the proximity to beautiful Flynn’s beach. It is literally over the road and a short 3 minute stroll down the hill. The beach itself is how beaches should be; surrounded by eucalypts and Norfolk pines and not built up. The beach is patrolled and the surf club features a newly opened cafe (Sandbox) offering good coffee as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. The kids loved the pool and spa and we made good use of the comfy lounges and lovely pool side cabana. Free Wifi throughout the resort couldn’t be faulted- no dropping out and decent speed- best I’ve experienced in a hotel/ apartment. A couple of minor quibbles- the bathrooms are internal and therefore have no natural light or ventilation. Having a laundry within the apartment and clothes horse on the balcony helped with washing and drying towels and bathmat. Pacific drive is quite a busy road so expect some traffic noise. Also, the air conditioning is only in the living area and the apartment we were in did not have ceiling fans, only stand fans. South Pacific is well maintained, gardens are lovely and everything is clean. The fact that all apartments face towards the pool could be a problem but isn’t because of the clearly stated pool hours which everyone stuck to. We...

Our apartment was on the third floor, two bedrooms, one bath, fully equipped kitchen, a few TV's, washer/dryer, two balconies, one of which is large and views of the sea. The apartment was clean and the bed very comfortable. The parking is underground and secure. Wifi was available and strong. The breakfast on the balcony was just great before walking the few steps to the beach. This place seems great for families as it is spacious and has pools. Two things to keep in mind, there is no elevator anywhere from what I've seen. You have to ensure that dishes are washed and put away before leaving, otherwise there's a fee.
